AGT CARGO MMC is looking for an experienced Container Transport & Business Development Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a professional with strong experience in international container logistics, sales, and client acquisition, who can independently manage shipments and develop new business.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate international container shipments.
• Manage rail, sea, road, and multimodal transportation.
• Handle shipments from the initial client request through final delivery.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, agents, freight forwarders, ports, terminals, and railway stations.
• Request, calculate, and negotiate freight rates and transportation terms.
• Calculate transportation costs, prepare commercial quotations, and control shipment profitability.
• Monitor container movements, delivery schedules, Free Time, Detention, Demurrage, and Storage.
• Handle transportation and shipping documentation and coordinate customs clearance when required.
• Actively search for and acquire new clients.
• Develop and maintain a strong client portfolio and long-term business relationships.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and close deals.
• Meet targets for new client acquisition, shipment volume, and revenue growth.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in container transportation / freight forwarding / international logistics.
• Proven experience in international container transportation.
• Experience with rail, sea, road, and multimodal transportation.
• Proven track record in client acquisition and business development.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills.
• Ability to calculate transportation costs and profit margins.
• Existing client portfolio is a strong advantage.
• Good command of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Azerbaijani and Russian — fluent.
• English —minimum B2 level.
• Strong communication skills, initiative, responsibility, and result-oriented mindset.
