• The German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is part of the global network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad. We promote bilateral business relations, support companies in entering the market, and provide platforms for economic dialogue and cooperation.
• To support our growing team, we are seeking a committed Economic Affairs & Market Analysis Officer with strong analytical and strategic skills to help deepen German-Azerbaijani economic ties.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, analysis, and structured preparation of information on industries, market conditions, relevant stakeholders, economic policy developments, government strategies and instruments, and macroeconomic data
• Identification and assessment of market needs in Azerbaijan, particularly in the focus sectors: construction and infrastructure, water management and finance
• Developing and drafting concepts for projects and economic dialogue formats (e.g. events, delegation trips, working groups)
• Preparation, documentation, and follow-up of AHK working group meetings
• Contribution to the content design of strategic AHK projects with economic relevance

Your Profile

• University degree in Political Science, Economics, International Relations, or related fields
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an international, economic, or policy-related environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to structure complex information clearly
• Experience in preparing reports, policy briefs, or concept papers
• Excellent command of German and English (written and spoken); 
• Independent and well-organized work style with a collaborative mindset
• Strong interest in international economic relations and cross-cultural cooperation
