About us:

The German-Azerbaijani Chamber of Commerce (AHK Azerbaijan) is the official representative of the German economy in Azerbaijan. We support German and Azerbaijani companies in their business activities both in Azerbaijan and Germany and organize multiple networking events throughout the year. To strengthen our young and motivated German-Azerbaijani team, we are looking for an intern to start as soon as possible for a period of three to six months. The internship is full-time (40 hours per week) and paid.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing support to the Marketing and Communication Department
• Translating and editing press releases and social media materials
• Supporting the creation and editing of video content (basic video editing)
• Assisting with AHK Azerbaijan’s events and conferences, including preparing announcements and coordinating information for media and social platforms
• Preparing and editing the organization’s newsletters
• Conducting media and market research, identifying potential media partners, and monitoring communication trends

Requirements:

• Ongoing degree studies in marketing, public relations, economics, or related fields
• Preference given to master’s students or final-year undergraduate students
• Ability to work independently, along with strong teamwork, communication skills, and flexibility
• Proficiency in MS Office programs
• Excellent written and spoken Azerbaijani and English; knowledge of German is an asset
• Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations
• Strong digital literacy, including familiarity with tools such as ChatGPT
