AIMC (Azerbaijan International Mining Company)- is engaged in the exploration and production of gold, copper and silver in Azerbaijan.
Logistics specialists are responsible for logistics operations, both domestic and international in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Work Location: Baku, Azerbaijan
Employment: Full-time (5 working days / 2 days off)
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree + any certifications are a plus;
- 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, experience in manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of transportation, warehouse operations, and inventory control;
- Familiarity with international trade, customs procedures, and Incoterms;
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in English and Azerbaijani languages is required
Job responsibilities include, not limited to:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation, warehousing
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient service / delivery to destination point
- Oversee customs clearance and international shipping documentation in compliance with import/export regulations
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to synchronize logistics with operational needs
- Monitor deadlines, and obligations to ensure fulfillment by all parties as per PO / Contract
- Implement and maintain logistics procedures, including packaging, labeling, and tracking , if applicable
- Resolve logistics issues such as delivery delays, damages, and documentation discrepancies
- Ensure all required documentation is complete for payment processing and submit it to the accounting department
- Manage and maintain accurate logistics records
