Work conditions:
- Work location: Gadabay office, Azerbaijan
- Work schedule: 22 working days, 9 rest days
- Employment: Full-time
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or equivalent in Engineering.
- Both experienced and inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Basic knowledge of geological exploration, mineralogy, rock types, and ore deposit models (preferred)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel and work in different locations
- Good command of Azerbaijani and English (Intermediate level)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of geological mapping and modeling software (e.g., ArcGIS, Surpac, Micromine) is an advantage.
Job responsibilities include, not limited to:
- Participate in geological exploration activities and rock sample collection
- Support drilling programs and related field operations
- Assist in organizing and evaluating rock and ore sample analyses
- Collect, analyze, and prepare geological data and reports
- Execute and oversee all types of geological sampling in accordance with industry standards.
- Conduct grade control activities to ensure optimal ore recovery and minimize dilution during extraction.
- Conduct field geological mapping
- Preparation of geological cross-sections and participate in the development of geological models, orebody models, and other 3D spatial models.
- Support deposit evaluation and resource estimation activities
- Comply with safety standards and regulations
- Work closely with engineers, technicians and mining personnel
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly work plans
- Regularly report collected data and findings to management
