“The European Azerbaijan School” Education Complex LLC is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Marketing Deputy Head to support and strengthen the strategic and operational functions of our Marketing Department.
About the Position
The Marketing Deputy Head will assist the Head of Marketing in overseeing all marketing activities, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with the organization’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership abilities, marketing expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Operations
- Support the Head of Marketing in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Ensure all marketing activities are executed in accordance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Monitor and optimize marketing workflows, ensuring timely and accurate execution of initiatives.
Brand & Market Management
- Maintain and enhance relationships with external partners, media, and vendors.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
- Ensure all marketing materials and campaigns meet quality, brand, and strategic objectives.
Process Management & Reporting
- Supervise tracking of marketing projects, campaigns, and performance metrics.
- Review and approve marketing reports, plans, and documentation prepared by the team.
- Contribute to budgeting, cost estimation, and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives.
Campaign & Communication Management
- Support the planning and execution of promotional events, digital campaigns, and public relations efforts.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing marketing contracts, agreements, and collaboration proposals.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure marketing efforts align with organizational goals.
- Mentor and guide marketing staff as delegated by the Head of Marketing.
- Ensure smooth departmental operations during the absence of the Head of Marketing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience; experience in a supervisory or senior role preferred.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital platforms, and brand management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software/tools.
- High attention to detail, responsibility, and punctuality.
