Job Requirements:
- Over 5 years of total experience in drilling fluids (offshore)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Available Drilling Fluid Fundamentals School Certificate
- Experience in heavy-weight mud (Oil Based and Water based mud with a density exceeding 2.00G).
- Strong experience in managing downhole losses.
- Experience working with completion fluids.
- Experience with control of drilling fluid parameters at downhole conditions.
- Experience working in remote locations. Offshore and onshore.
- Good planning abilities and logistics.
- Experience with downhole problems, mud management, mud engineering, and fluid design.
- Experience working with HP High Pressure wells.
- Experience working with dual gradient system
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-standard Drilling Fluid Technical Engineering Service at customer locations.
- Monitor drilling mud properties, completion fluids, workover fluids, and kill fluids through daily laboratory analyses.
- Control solids control equipment performance and prepare daily reports.
- Maintain chemicals inventory using ONE-TRAX software and file reagent and material requests.
- Advise on drilling fluid-related issues to customer representatives and escalate to the Senior DF Engineer/Project Engineer as necessary.
- Identify and resolve drilling fluid-related problems within scope of competence and recommend preventive actions.
