About the Job:

  • The Information Systems Manager will lead and manage the company’s information systems and technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategy. The role involves managing IT infrastructure, overseeing strategic and administrative planning, coordinating projects, monitoring technological developments, and providing guidance and consultancy to senior management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a technology management approach that supports innovation and aligns with the company’s vision, mission, and strategy.
  • Collect and analyze data from economics, law, international relations, technology, and other relevant fields to support strategic, financial, and legal decision-making.
  • Continuously monitor and report military, economic, political, and social developments domestically and internationally.
  • Lead or contribute to risk, scenario, and other analyses as required by senior management.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging investment opportunities, including company formation, partnerships, or spin-offs.
  • Develop predictive and explanatory models using Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, and statistical analysis to support departmental responsibilities.
  • Identify strategic cooperation opportunities and propose risk-sharing or acceleration methods for technology acquisition.
  • Manage the company’s information infrastructure in alignment with mission and vision, including strategic and administrative planning, investment allocation, and budgeting.
  • Create departmental work plans, ensure unit compliance, and monitor and evaluate plan execution.
  • Maintain departmental knowledge and physical inventory, identify and mitigate risks, and implement risk management plans.
  • Monitor IT developments and emerging technologies, incorporate effective solutions, and inform senior management.
  • Align the department’s strategic and administrative plans with overall company objectives.
  • Manage the transition of corporate business processes to electronic platforms and oversee the IT infrastructure supporting these processes.
  • Create and monitor investment, service, and resource budgets according to the annual business plan and approved new investments.
  • Project and manage the implementation of technologies deemed appropriate by senior management.
  • Conduct research and participate in company visits, presentations, and industry events to stay updated on IT trends and report findings to senior management.
  • Define departmental performance criteria, evaluate, motivate, and provide training for the department’s human resources.
  • Establish departmental guidelines, determine duties and responsibilities of units, and manage recruitment to ensure technical and social competencies.
  • Conduct investment cost/benefit analyses, coordinate procurement and receiving processes, and manage IT-related hardware, software, devices, and auditing.
  • Oversee information security initiatives, interface with domestic and international companies on technical matters, and represent the company in IT-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT management and information systems leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and technology trends.
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and budget management.
  • Analytical skills and ability to conduct risk and cost/benefit analyses.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of information security standards and compliance requirements.
