About the Job:
Azroksan is seeking an experienced Propellant Production Process Engineer to develop, optimize, and qualify propellant production processes used in rocket and missile systems. The role focuses on process safety, product quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement throughout development and mass production phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, improve, and optimize propellant production processes to increase efficiency, product quality, and occupational safety while reducing defect and labor rates.
- Monitor propellant production processes, analyze process data, and prevent nonconforming or faulty production.
- Design and maintain process flow charts, control plans, and production documentation.
- Prepare and update production instructions and work instructions for mass production lines and equipment.
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and requirement documents at the design stage and provide manufacturability and process safety feedback.
- Perform systematic error analysis, resolve production and incoming quality control issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Determine tooling, equipment, device, and infrastructure needs for current and new production processes; prepare technical specifications.
- Contribute to labor, investment, and cost analyses during proposal preparation for new production projects.
- To ensure the production of finished and semi-finished products.
- To ensure that the mixing, casting, feeding charge production, turning and assembly operations and prototype assemblies and all related energetic operations are carried out,
- To control the production flow and production program realization, to take measures within his/her authority to ensure continuity, to act together with the unit manager on matters beyond his/her authority,
- To make or coordinate repair and malfunction requests for the machines,
- To ensure that personal protective equipment is used in accordance with the rules for occupational safety and to comply with the rules for environmental protection,
- To ensure that production is carried out correctly and in accordance with work safety rules in the workshops, and to ensure that precautions are taken by identifying employee and equipment-based risks in advance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production or process engineering, preferably in propellant, explosive, or high-risk manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of process safety, quality systems, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience in process development, qualification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and production environments.
