Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer (Part-Time)
Work schedule: Part-time role with up to 20 hours/week (flexible working schedule)
Work place: Hybrid work environment (remote + occasional office presence)
Work hours: 09-00 till 18-00 (13-00 till 14-00 lunch break).

AzWallet is a licensed fintech company regulated by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBAR). We are looking for a Part-Time Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to establish and manage our information security framework and ensure full compliance with regulatory and cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Define and implement AzWallet’s information security policies, standards, and procedures
- Ensure full compliance with CBAR cybersecurity requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001)
- Perform risk assessments, security reviews, and internal audits
- Lead incident response and coordinate handling of security breaches
- Review and enforce security controls across infrastructure, networks, and applications
- Provide clear security reporting and insights to the executive team
- Support secure development practices and DevSecOps collaboration
- Lead security awareness efforts across the organization
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years in cybersecurity or information security leadership roles
- Strong knowledge of regulatory security standards, especially for fintech or banking
- Hands-on understanding of network and cloud security, SIEM, MFA, DLP, etc.
- Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA etc.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, English or Russian proficiency is a plus
- Strong documentation, communication, and reporting skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
