The Baku Stock Exchange is seeking a skilled Information Security Specialist responsible for ensuring information security in compliance with regulatory requirements and international standards. The role involves monitoring and protecting critical systems and data, responding to security incidents, and supporting the continuous improvement of the organization’s cybersecurity posture through the implementation of effective security controls and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Description

• Timely and effective monitoring, detection, analysis, and response to security incidents; 
• Administration and operation of EDR, XDR, and SIEM platforms; 
• Conducting vulnerability assessments and providing recommendations for remediation; 
• Investigation and documentation of security incidents; performing root cause analysis and contributing to continuous process improvement; 
• Development and maintenance of incident response playbooks and procedures; 
• Collaboration with IT and business teams to enhance the organization’s security posture; 
• Supporting the deployment and configuration of security monitoring and detection tools; 
• Participation in security awareness and training activities. 

Requirements

• Higher education – Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; 
• Proven experience in Incident Response (IR) and threat investigation; 
• Strong understanding of security operations, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms; 
• Familiarity with SIEM technologies and log analysis; 
• Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO e.g.,); 
• Relevant certifications are an advantage; 
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; 
• Good communication and documentation skills.
