The Baku Stock Exchange is seeking for a Membership and communication officer to lead key initiatives and drive excellence in member engagement, communication, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the membership process from start to finish, ensuring compliance, support onboarding of new members by guiding them through procedures and system access, updating and managing records of traders and system users.
  • Support members and traders by responding to their requests, assisting with renewals, and ensuring they receive maximum value from their membership benefits.
  • Ensure all member and trader activities comply with local laws and regulations, upholding the highest standards of legal and regulatory alignment.
  • Carefully review documents and records to ensure they meet compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate active communication and engagement with local investment firms and banks as well as foreign related organizations to expand market participation.
  • Collect and analyze financial reports from member companies, providing insightful findings to ensure transparency and compliance with financial standards.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across the board, ensuring seamless communication and engagement through various channels, while delivering clear, consistent messaging.
  • Gather feedback from members and traders to continually improve the experience and performance of membership services. Use data to assess and enhance strategies, and prepare insightful reports for senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience as a relationship management, stakeholder engagement within a financial or regulatory environment
  • Solid knowledge of financial markets, stakeholder communication, business processes, and general compliance principles.
  • Hands-on experience communication with clients or stakeholders, document handling, reporting, and coordination of operational processes.
  • Basic understanding of capital market instruments, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
  • Experience preparing reports, working with financial or operational data, maintaining records, and supporting communication with internal and external parties. 
  • Knowledge of customer support principles, capital markets principles and standard documentation and communication practices.
