The Protocol Manager for the CIS Games 2025 project will oversee the coordination of official protocols for high-level guests and international delegations.

Contract Type: Temporary Role
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement protocol procedures in accordance with international diplomatic standards.
- Coordinate official events, receptions, and ceremonies for VIPs and foreign delegations.
- Organize and manage arrival and departure protocols, seating arrangements, and hospitality services.
- Act as the primary liaison with embassies, consulates, national Olympic committees, and local officials.
- Prepare detailed briefings, event scripts, and communication materials for dignitaries and senior leadership.
- Supervise protocol staff and volunteers to ensure consistent execution of protocol standards.
- Coordinate with transportation, accommodation, security, and accreditation teams for VIP logistics.
- Provide clear and culturally sensitive explanations of procedures and expectations to diverse stakeholders.
- Address last-minute changes and sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Public Administration, Event Management, or a related field. (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in protocol, diplomacy.
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, English and Russian
- Strong ability to explain complex procedures and cultural practices clearly and effectively.
- Experience working in multicultural and international settings.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
