Job responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with the Labor Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, safety standards and regulations, relevant standards, and occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations.
- Oversee the implementation of the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) action plan.
- Conduct periodic inspections of working conditions at operational sites.
- Monitor timely and effective training of employees on safe working practices, proper induction of laborers, assessment of knowledge, and accurate maintenance of training logs.
- Participate in the development of induction training programs and deliver orientation for newly hired employees.
- Organize instruction for employees on the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and emergency/fire response protocols.
- Ensure that all departments are provided with necessary OHS-related normative documents, procedures, instructions, posters, and other supporting materials.
Requirements
- Minimum technical/vocation education in relevant or close field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the field.
Knowledge of:
- Relevant laws and decrees of Azerbaijan Republic
- Required international standrads ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
