F&B supervisor

Job responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and hosts/hostesses
  • Ensure efficient and smooth operation of dining areas, bar, and room service
  • Train new staff and conduct ongoing training sessions to maintain service standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to meet operational requirements
  • Assist in menu planning, pricing, and development of new dishes
  • Uphold sanitation and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages
  • Maintain a positive working environment and motivate team members to achieve goals

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Language skills: Azerbaijani, English. Russian is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning and cost control
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and restaurant management software
  • Certification in food safety and sanitation practices is a plus
