Role overview: 

• As an HSE Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. 

What You'll be doing:

• Conduct HSE inductions, training sessions, and knowledge assessments;
• Monitor and ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company standards;
• Conduct accident investigations and maintain incident documentation;
• Develop and update internal HSE policies and local regulatory documentation;
• Cooperate with government authorities on occupational safety matters;
• Assess and control risks; conduct regular internal HSE audits;
• Ensure compliance with Carlsberg Group and national safety, fire protection, and environmental regulations;
• Drive HSE culture through awareness and engagement initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Higher education (preferably in Engineering or related fields);
• Proven experience in HSE (preferably in FMCG or manufacturing);
• Strong knowledge of local HSE legislation and international standards;
• Strong documentation and reporting skills, especially for audits and investigations;
• Confidence in communicating with authorities and internal stakeholders
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and Russian; advanced English 

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under the pressure;
• Certifications in Occupational Health & Safety (preferred) 
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills;
• Proactive, responsible, and committed to continuous improvement;
