Role overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Software Automation Lead Engineer to drive automation excellence across our production operations. This role will be responsible for leading automation engineers team and initiatives, ensuring system reliability, and supporting continuous improvement within our manufacturing environment.
What You'll be doing:
- Lead and coordinate the work of automation specialists and technical teams;
- Manage and oversee automation projects from planning to implementation;
- Ensure stability, efficiency, and optimization of automation systems;
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and modernize existing control systems;
- Develop and implement improvements in production processes;
- Provide technical guidance on PLC programming and system architecture;
- Support cross-functional collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation Engineering or a related fields;
- Minimum than 3 year of work experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role;
- Strong knowledge of automation tools and technologies (PLC, SCADA, HMI, SİEMENS S7 etc.);
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills, with the ability to guide and mentor;
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Skills:
- Proven experience in team leadership and coordination of technical specialists
- Strong ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Solid practical experience with Siemens STEP 7 (S7)
- Experience working with ProLeiT / Brewmax systems (process logic and operational understanding)
- Deep understanding of industrial production processes
- Experience in analysis, planning, and implementation of new technical projects
- Strong skills in diagnostics, optimization, and modernization of automation systems
