Role overview:
- We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse & Transportation Manager to lead our logistics operations, including warehouse and transportation. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, analytical, and process management skills to ensure the efficient flow of goods from production to customer delivery in a dynamic FMCG environment.
What You'll be doing:
- Lead and manage daily warehouse and transport operations to achieve productivity, safety, and service goals;
- Organize and control the receipt, storage, and dispatch of finished goods and materials in line with production and sales plans;
- Ensure accurate and transparent inventory management in ERP and WMS systems, maintaining compliance with company standards;
- Supervise the handling, storage, and quality control of finished goods, packaging, and materials received from production or suppliers;
- Coordinate transport schedules, fleet maintenance, fuel supply, and logistics service providers to ensure cost-efficient delivery;
- Manage contracts and performance of third-party logistics and transport partners, ensuring service quality and compliance;
- Plan and evaluate warehouse resource needs — personnel, equipment, and space — ensuring optimal utilization;
- Develop and implement improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse layout, processes, and loading/unloading operations;
- Control warehouse budget and operational costs, implement corrective actions and saving measures, when needed;
- Conduct periodic inventories and ensure accurate reporting of stock movements;
- Ensure full compliance with HSE and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements for health, safety, environment, and food safety;
- Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring timely execution of corrective actions.
What we’re looking for:
- University degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse and transportation management within the FMCG sector;
- Good communication skills, comfortable working with colleagues from various departments.
Skills:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate diverse teams;
- Solid understanding of ERP and WMS systems, complemented by advanced MS Office skills;
- Knowledge of logistics regulations, transport management, and cost optimization
- Fluent in Azerbaijani and Russian languages, English - İntermediate
