Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary CEO with a strong background in Hospitality to lead multi-property operations. The CEO will be responsible for strategic leadership, commercial performance, operational excellence, and brand consistency across all properties.
Key Responsibilities:
Tourism Strategy & Sales
- Develop and execute tourism and market strategy across the hospitality cluster
- Oversee B2B and B2C sales to drive occupancy, demand, and long-term partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with local and international tourism stakeholders (tour operators, DMCs, airlines, tourism boards)
Revenue & Commercial Management
- Define pricing, yield, and revenue strategies for hotel rooms, serviced apartments, and mixed-use hospitality assets
- Oversee revenue management, analytics, and performance metrics (ADR, RevPAR, occupancy)
- Approve and manage key commercial contracts and partnerships
Product Development, Marketing & Promotion
- Lead development and promotion of destination-level hospitality products
- Oversee marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, destination branding, exhibitions, and roadshows
- Ensure strong market positioning and brand consistency across all assets
MICE & Events
- Develop MICE and events tourism as a key revenue stream
- Oversee conferences, corporate events, weddings, and large-scale destination events
- Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and events teams
Operational & Functional Leadership
- Oversee hospitality operations, reservations, and guest experience
- Coordinate Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Compliance functions in line with governance standards
- Standardize SOPs, service quality, and operational efficiency across properties
Candidate Profile:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, Economics, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA / Executive MBA) preferred
Experience
- 15+ years in hospitality or tourism, including 7–10 years in executive leadership roles
- Proven experience as Hotel / Resort / Cluster CEO, Managing Director, or equivalent
- Strong background in tourism sales, destination marketing, and revenue management
- Experience with mixed-use hospitality assets and large-scale resort or destination projects
Key Competencies
- Strategic, commercial, and financial leadership with full P&L responsibility
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and governance
- Ability to drive revenue growth, efficiency, and brand value
- Excellent stakeholder management and board-level communication
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English
