Job Summary:

A company based in Baku, operating in financial markets, is seeking a Investment Specialist with a solid understanding of investment strategies, portfolio management, and financial analysis. This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about driving impactful investment decisions and contributing to the company's overall financial growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, have experience in investment management, and hold relevant certifications such as CFA or CFI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive analysis of investment opportunities in local and international markets, focusing on fixed income, equity, and alternative investment products.
• Develop, implement, and monitor investment strategies to maximize returns while minimizing risks.
• Assist in building and managing diversified investment portfolios aligned with the company’s financial objectives.
• Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses to support investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed investment reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Monitor economic and market trends to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of investment strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies during the investment process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in investment management, financial analysis, or a related field.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• CFA (Charter Financial Analyst), CFI (Corporate Finance Institute) certificates or equivalent is highly desirable. Experience with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
• A person who is patient, responsible, curious, cooperative with analytical thinking capacity will be a perfect match for the position. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Azerbaijani.
