Job Overview:

A company based in Baku, operating in financial markets, is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our expert team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, strategic planning, and data interpretation. You should have at least three years of experience in analyzing financial data and providing actionable insights that drive business decisions. A solid understanding of finance principles and business mathematics will be essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain financial reports and dashboards using Excel to support strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy in financial models, reports, and presentations.
• Apply advanced business mathematics and financial principles to interpret complex data sets and provide recommendations.
• Lead efforts to automate reporting processes and enhance financial workflows for greater efficiency.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, budgeting, reporting or financial analysis.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in MS Excel, including advanced functions, financial modeling, and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with Power BI or similar tools for creating dynamic financial dashboards and visualizations.
• Knowledge of financial reporting standards IFRS, Tax, Financial Modelling best practices, and compliance requirements.
• Solid theoretical understanding of business, financial analysis, budgeting and reporting principles.
