To effectively manage the procurement activity and ensure the timely, high-quality, and cost-efficient supply of goods and services required for oil and gas projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies and organize procurement plans according to project requirements.
- Select, evaluate, and manage suppliers and contracts.
- Daily communication is to be maintained with both the client and key vendors/partners.
- Client meetings are to be attended, with the candidate acting as the primary operational point of contact.
- New business areas for development and implementation within the Oil & Gas market are to be explored and promoted.
- The ongoing Artificial Lift Systems project is to be managed, with responsibility for monthly monitoring and service coordination.
- Manage procurement budgets and expenses, prepare financial reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services in line with project schedules.
- Identify and manage risks while protecting the company’s interests.
Requirements:
- Higher education (Economics, Management, or Oil & Gas-related fields preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas equipment
- Practical knowledge of tender and contract management.
- Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in Azerbaijani. English is desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
