Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Execution Senior Manager to establish and lead the operations function, ensuring seamless project execution and operational excellence. The role involves close collaboration with global functions to align local operations with international standards and strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving innovation and efficiency in large-scale technology and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning and preparation phases, including resource allocation, risk assessments, and timeline development, ensuring smooth transition into execution.
• Lead day-to-day operations across hardware engineering, vendor coordination, product commissioning, software integration, and grid mapping, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety protocols.
• Manage client expectations while aligning deliverables with contractual commitments.
• Ensure all installations and commissioning activities meet quality standards and compliance requirements through direct oversight.
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment of activities and resources.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational processes, deployments, and audits.
• Supervise and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and readiness.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in operational leadership within infrastructure upgrades or technology projects.
• Strong background in instrumentation and control systems.
• Proven ability to manage field operations, cross-functional teams, and vendor coordination.
• Solid understanding of IT ecosystems (servers, data hierarchy, communication protocols, etc.).
• Experience with commissioning, QA/QC, and project deployments.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent project management tools.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English; Russian or other regional languages is an advantage.
