MAPS engineer is a competent and experienced Senior Telecom Engineer directly involved in execution of all type maintenance activities, ad-hoc scopes and repair events, maintaining solid knowledge of MAPS infrastructure hardware and software components, being capable of using available troubleshooting and system performance measurement tools, and possessing advanced knowledge of human-machine interface settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform the preventative maintenance events as agreed in Site Maintenance Procedures and Preventive Maintenance Routines.
• Perform the corrective and break-fix maintenance in compliance with supplied COMPANY method of statements. 
• Prepare the maintenance completion and site visit reports. 
• While on COMPANY operated site, address end-user queries on human-machine GUI settings change. 
• Gather customer feedback on MAPS system performance and desired functional improvements when requested by COMPANY CONTRACT ACCOUNTABLE MANAGER. 
• Perform quality site surveys upon request by COMPANY in accordance with approved scope for survey visits. 
• Prepare comprehensive site survey reports. 
• Perform required technical root-cause analysis of component failures or performance deviations with MAPS systems. 
• Provide support for VTMS software OEM in maintenance activities where applicable. 
• Perform ad-hoc scope within TSS competencies and experience. 
• Constantly develop and enhance competency, knowledge and skills for effective delivery of MAPS system technical support

Requirements:

• MAPS Engineer shall have minimum 5 years of experience in installation and maintenance of hardware and software components of MAPS system and maintain good practices in usage of common and specific hand tools and measurement tools, as well as be competent and experienced in electrical and electronic equipment installation, maintenance and repair.
