Project Manager (PM) is a Lead Telecom Engineer responsible for delivery supervision of projects in the sphere of telecommunication technologies such as marine radars, VHF / UHF data and voice communication, fibre-optic transmission systems and multi-level data networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Manager shall maintain knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure hardware and software components, understand dependencies between system components, know system capabilities, boundaries and limitations, and clearly identify stakeholders within COMPANY organization.
- Ensure delivery of assigned projects in compliance with local laws, regulations, and COMPANY rules, frameworks and practices.
- Lead project execution and delivery, maintaining overall project vision supported by project plans.
- Proactively assess business case documents and project charts for feasibility and provide feedback to COMPANY representatives.
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables and schedule in collaboration with stakeholders including management, sponsors, product owners, architects and project teams.
- Identify and resolve project issues and conflicts and communicate behavioral or ethical concerns to COMPANY representatives.
- Identify and manage project risks, dependencies and critical path.
- Continuously assess and record project KPIs for cost and schedule progress.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, issue/action logs, proposals and presentations at established reporting periods.
- Provide regular status reporting on project health, progress, issues and risks to stakeholders.
- Protect project baseline and manage change requests for scope, budget or schedule when required.
- Identify process improvements to enhance compliance and reduce risk.
- Develop and promote best practices and tools for project execution and management.
- Conduct lessons learned and recommend improvements for continuous enhancement of project delivery.
- Promote risk-aware culture and ensure compliance with required standards and processes.
- Ensure all project activities do not compromise safety of people, business or environment.
- Manage effective project closure including preparation and submission of closure reports to COMPANY representative.
- Continuously develop and enhance competency, knowledge and skills for effective project delivery.
