We collaborate with banks, processors, and fintech companies worldwide. As part of our growth strategy, the local CompassPlus Technologies office in Azerbaijan is expanding its QA team and is looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join us in Baku.

Job Description:

• We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer (Automated Software Testing) who will take an active role in ensuring the quality of complex software systems. The candidate will participate in test design, automation, integration testing, and close interaction with development and business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and support automated test scenarios
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing
• Work with API testing tools and analyze service interactions
• Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test plans, and technical documentation
• Participate in requirements analysis and review of technical specifications
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other QA engineers

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC
• Experience in software and automated testing (Selenium, Playwright) and test design
• English language proficiency at B1 level or higher
• Hands-on experience with SOAP UI, Postman, and JMeter
• Skills in preparing and maintaining technical and test documentation
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages (Java, Python, etc.)
• Experience working with databases (basic SQL knowledge is an advantage)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, banking, or payment-related projects
• Understanding of payment systems and transaction processing
• Experience with API testing and microservices architecture
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing
