A leading company operating in the oil and gas sector is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support its procurement and supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of procurement experience; oil and gas industry background is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contractual terms, and supplier management.
- Proficiency in MS Office; ERP system experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor sourcing, evaluation, negotiations, and purchase order processing.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve supply-related issues, and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and support operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
