Responsibilities
- Control of production processes and proper organization and safely performance of works, production equipment, sanitary facilities, good condition and correct operation of equipment, existence and suitability of necessary quantity of protective and rescue equipment, monitoring their good condition and implementation on workplaces;
- Stop operation in case of occurrence of danger for life and health of employees on the platform, mechanisms, machines, drilling rigs. Reporting about persons who violated safety rules and regulations;
- Conduction of instructions and training drills and ensuring their compliance with adopted Company policies, procedures and rules and also compliance with the signed contracts;
- Control of noise and vibration levels, content of harmful substances in air to be at permissible level of norms;
- Reporting, documenting and ensuring investigations of any accidents and incidents that took place;
- Execution of regularly inspections of work areas, in a planned order, implementation of audit and an assessment, preparation of written recommendations about elimination of discrepancies and improvement of the current situation in full accordance with requirements which defined by the Company;
- In case having the appropriate knowledge and skills, up on management request conducting safety inductions, including other safety instructions;
- Participation in safety meetings and toolbox talks regarding the control over required preparedness level of employees, level of communication
- and proper registration issues;
- Provision of employees with the necessary information about the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Protection policy and procedures;
- Take an active part in the work of the subcommittee created by the Standing Commission on Labor Protection;
- Provision of accommodation module, work areas, crossings, stairs, devices and equipment areas with required prohibitive, guiding and warning signs;
- Participation in all meetings held for operations and ensure supervision over safe execution of activities;
- Control of segregation and transportation of generated wastes in a safe manner;
- Control of collective and personal rescue equipment, fire protection systems and fire extinguishers to be in good and working condition and carry out their periodic inspections;
- In case of need, participation in safety related competitions, workshops and the training courses;
- Monitoring and registration of work permits and loading plans in accordance with the requirements of the relevant procedures;
- Control of providing timely, accurate and high-quality instructions at the workplace and step-by-step monitoring of working conditions;
- Participate in the development of regulations, standards, guidelines for the safe operation of the facility and environmental protection, make suggestions for their modification or improvement;
- Provide recommendations and advice to experts, managers, engineers and technical specialists on issues of labor protection, safety and environmental issues and elimination of deficiencies in the organization of labor;
- Detection of dangerous and harmful production factors in the workplace;
- Monitoring the implementation of work to eliminate the causes of accidents at workplaces
- Monitoring the storage, distribution, washing, dry cleaning, and proper handling of special clothing, special footwear and other personal protective equipment;
- Monitor the timely conduct of necessary tests and technical checks of equipment, machines and mechanisms used at the workplace by the relevant services;
- Control of conducting timely and high-quality identification of workplace hazards, risks and opportunities and environmental aspects assessment;
- Prepare periodic reports on work functions, organize HSE meetings with engineering and technical personnel, and sending all records as appropriate;
- Being always aware of the current state of HSE in the working areas and report deficiencies;
- Perform the tasks assigned by the supervisor in accordance with the job description;
- Organize all works according to Company values;
- Attend meetings and training courses arranged by Company.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent education (in a relevant field)
- 3 years of experience in a relevant field and position (if applicable)
- Technological literacy, including MS Office, Zoom, SAP etc.
- English language skills are preferred
- Other specific requirements set by the relevant business unit
- Financial and numerical literacy and ability to read, digest and track financial information, if any
- Awareness and advanced knowledge about HSE standards
- Attitude to learn from others and to share with others
- Ability to communicate in an open, clear, transparent and friendly way
- Ability to generate solutions and attitude to take ownership for mistakes
