Accountant with below requirements Ref# ACCT:
- University degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a qualified accountant, with experience in a similar role preferred
- Candidate must have accounting attestation as per the Azerbaijan government requirements.
- Proficiency in Azerbaijani and English languages (both written and verbal). Knowledge of Russian will be a plus
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel
- Up-to-date knowledge of Azerbaijani tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in logistics industry will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and tax preparation
- Ensuring compliance with Azerbaijani accounting standards and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as required
- Liaising with tax authorities and auditors.
- Submission of monthly ,quarterly and yearly tax declarations .
- Experience with 1C accounting software is mandatory.
- Experience using ERP software .
- Experience in VAT Calculation, filing and reconciliations of VAT return
- Fully aware of tax calculation and monthly , quarterly and yearly return filing.
- Issuance of Invoicing, e Qaima and subsequent coordination with customers.
- Payments processing and coordination with vendors.
- Payroll & HR management in line with Azerbaijan Labor and Tax Laws
