Aveva Program Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to users of the Aveva software suite, ensuring efficient operation and usage within the company. This role is essential for maintaining the smooth functioning of design, engineering, and data management processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to users of Aveva software, including Aveva PDMS, Aveva E3D, and other related applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project workflows.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Aveva software and its modules.
  • Provide training and support to team members on best practices for using Aveva software.
  • Collaborate with IT and project teams to integrate Aveva software into existing systems and workflows.
  • Maintain and update user documentation and technical guides related to Aveva software usage.
  • Monitor software performance and recommend improvements or system optimizations.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency within Aveva databases and project files.
  • Stay updated on new Aveva software features and updates, advising the team on potential benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with Aveva software suite, particularly Aveva PDMS and/or Aveva E3D.
  • Strong understanding of design and engineering workflows, especially in industries such as oil and gas, construction, or manufacturing.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support users at various technical levels.
  • Experience with database management and data integrity in Aveva systems is a plus.
