The Modern Educational Complex named in Honour of Heydar Aliyev Is actively seeking to appoint the right candidate for the following position: Primary Homeroom Teacher – Maternity Leave Cover (Full-Time)

Stream: International (Cambridge) Application Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in pedagogical field;
- At least 1-3 years of experience in the appropriate field;
- Ability to use modern educational and electronic equipment (smart boards, tablets, computers, etc.) in the classroom;
- Fluent in Azerbaijani, C1 level of English excellent language skills
- Relevant sertificates;
- Experience in using MS Office and Windows software packages;
- To establish effective communication with students and parents, school leaders, teachers and support staff
Main responsibilities:
- Organizes and supports students as a homeroom teacher, helping them develop respect for their country and environment.
- Maintains regular communication with parents and involves them in students’ development.
- Conducts lessons appropriate to students’ age, using different teaching methods and materials.
- Prepares lesson plans and ensures the curriculum is fully covered.
- Supervises and supports the work of other teachers in the team.
- Develops annual and daily plans, and monitors and evaluates progress.
- Participates in professional meetings and suggests improvements to teaching practices.
- Continuously works on professional development.
- Maintains discipline during lessons.
