Job overview:

High Technologies Park was established by Presidential Order on November 8, 2016, and is currently under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan to promote sustainable economic development through innovation, research, and high technology. Within the Park, the “SABAH.city” innovation cluster is being developed as a strategic initiative to nurture top talent, boost R&D commercialization, foster collaboration between academia and industry, and create jobs in the knowledge economy. The new employee will contribute to the planning and implementation of “SABAH.city”, working within High Technologies Park in close coordination with public and private sector stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • ⁠Conduct market research, gather insights, and analyze trends to support data-informed decision-making; 
  • ⁠Create and evaluate financial models to assess business opportunities and risks; 
  • Develop clear, compelling presentations using PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools; 
  • Perform in-depth research on global practices, benchmarks, and best practices relevant to various industries; 
  • ⁠Collaborate with internal teams on innovation-driven projects and startup development;
  • Work closely with external stakeholders including investors, tenants, and partners, supporting communication, coordination, and relationship management;
  • Provide actionable recommendations backed by thorough research and critical thinking;
  • Prepare concise reports and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders;
  • ⁠Contribute to strategic planning and operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Innovation, or related fields;
  • ⁠Minimum 2 years of professional experience in business consulting, strategy, or a related analytical role; 
  • ⁠Proficiency in financial modeling and data interpretation; 
  • Strong command of presentation tools such as PowerPoint and Canva;
  • ⁠Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; 
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, communicate, and build trust with diverse external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams;
  • ⁠Strong written and verbal communication skills (Azerbaijani and English);
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
