Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and develop business opportunities in the oil, gas, and energy sectors, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
- Promote Huawei's energy industry solutions, including industrial IoT, digital oilfield, pipeline monitoring, smart grids, and secure communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national oil companies, energy ministries, and key energy sector enterprises.
Customer Engagement & Account Management
- Understand customer needs for operational efficiency, safety, and automation, providing tailored digital transformation solutions.
- Manage key energy accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term collaboration.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with energy companies and partners.
Solution Design & Technical Consultation
- Work with pre-sales and technical teams to design robust and mission-critical solutions for energy clients, often for challenging environments.
- Present Huawei’s innovations for the energy sector and industry best practices.
- Stay updated on industry trends, operational technology (OT) standards, and compliance requirements in Azerbaijan’s energy sector.
Revenue & Sales Target Achievement
- Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and expanding market share in the energy sector.
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for Huawei’s energy industry solutions.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the ICT industry, including at least 5 years of direct experience in the oil, gas, or energy sector.
- Rich ICT industry experience including one or more domains (IP, IT, Storage, Cloud, etc.), and familiar with 2 or 3 vendors' products and solutions (e.g., Huawei, Cisco, Dell, HP).
- Proven track record of successful ICT project delivery in the energy sector in Azerbaijan.
