Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join a well-established company in Baku. The role involves full responsibility for accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance with IFRS and local legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage the accounting system in accordance with IFRS
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax legislation
• Prepare and submit reports to state authorities (Tax, SSPF, Statistics, etc.)
• Oversee accounting for cash, inventory, fixed assets, and settlements
• Monitor debtor and creditor balances
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions
• Control and manage all accounting and financial operations
• Lead and supervise the accounting team

Requirements:

• Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (production sector is a must)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in 1C 8.3 and advanced MS Excel
• PMS certification is required
• ACCA/CFA is an advantage
• Fluency in Azerbaijani; good Russian and/or English
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and leadership abilities
