We are currently hiring a Civil Engineer for a major onshore project in Azerbaijan.
Location: Baku / Site-based
Salary: 5,500 – 7,000 AZN (net)
This role is ideal for a hands-on Civil Engineer with strong site experience in earthworks, infrastructure, and industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate civil construction activities on site
- Oversee site preparation, excavation, filling, levelling, and compaction works
- Manage drainage systems, culverts, and access road construction
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, HSE, and quality standards
- Coordinate with QA/QC, HSE, survey teams, subcontractors, and vendors
- Support preparation of method statements, inspection requests, and as-built documentation
Requirements:
- Ability to work with drawings, specs, and project documentation
- English – good working level
Degree in Civil Engineering
- 5–10 years of relevant experience (industrial / EPC / infrastructure / O&G preferred)
Strong practical experience in:
- Earthworks & compaction
- Site grading & levelling
- Drainage & culverts
- Roads & access roads
- Fencing & gates
- Concrete & foundations
Preferred:
- Experience in international / EPC projects
- Exposure to oil & gas standards
- Experience in Azerbaijan is a plus
