IRES is currently looking for experienced Electronics Engineers for an offshore project.
Work Location: Offshore Construction Vessel
Requirements:
- Higher education in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position
- Offshore construction/vessel experience is highly preferred
- Fluent English and Azerbaijani
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC and AC/AC drive control systems, including ABB ACS600/800 and Siemens Sinamics
- Knowledge of Profibus, Ethernet and fibre-optic data transmission
- Good knowledge of PLC systems (S5, S7) and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of electrical power distribution, diesel generator control, switchboard protection and power management systems
- Ability to read electrical/electronic symbols, single-line and functional diagrams
- Experience with electrical control systems for tensioners, A&R winches, spooling systems, conveyors, stinger devices and cranes
- Practical experience in inspection, maintenance and repair of vessel electrical equipment, including thrusters, motors, pumps, control panels and cranes
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and coordinate electrical/electronic maintenance activities onboard
- Plan maintenance activities and report to the Electrical Lead / Chief Engineer
- Monitor and control onboard electrical and electronic equipment
- Define maintenance priorities and propose maintenance schedules
- Ensure efficient and safe operation of electrical/electronic equipment
- Maintain appropriate spare-parts and material stock levels
- Ensure all activities comply with HSE, Quality and HSEQ requirements
