On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Procurement, Customs and Logistics Specialist

Role Purpose:

• We are looking for an experienced Procurement, Customs and Logistics Specialist to manage the timely and compliant movement of project materials from international and local suppliers to site. The role requires hands-on experience in logistics, expediting, and customs clearance, preferably within EPC / EPCM or construction projects in Azerbaijan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and coordinate domestic and international logistics routes (road, sea, air, rail)
• Expedite critical equipment and bulk materials from vendors
• Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, and 3PL providers
• Prepare, review, and control shipping documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, BL, COO, etc.)
• Manage customs clearance procedures for imports into Azerbaijan
• Ensure correct HS code classification and duty assessment
• Coordinate import permits, licenses, and special clearances
• Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field
• 3–9 years of experience in logistics, expediting, and customs clearance
• Experience in EPC / EPCM, construction, or heavy industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of Azerbaijani customs regulations
• Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Languages: English and Azerbaijani – mandatory; Russian or Chinese is an advantage
• Willingness to travel to project sites
