On behalf of our partner, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Storekeeper to join a major Oil & Gas project.
Location: Baku, Azerbaijan (Base Office – approximately 30 km from the city center)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, preservation, and distribution of consumable materials and spare parts in accordance with company procedures and HSEQ standards.
- Process material requests and ensure proper authorization procedures are followed.
- Receive materials and equipment, verify deliveries against purchase orders, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Ensure proper storage, preservation, and organization of materials to maximize efficiency and optimize warehouse space.
- Handle material issuing, loading, and unloading activities.
- Conduct periodic stock reviews and slow-moving inventory analysis.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation.
- Prepare materials for shipment, including packing and packing list documentation.
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and report delays to the relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using electronic inventory management systems.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Storekeeper/Warehouse role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Fluency in English and Azerbaijani.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, material handling, storage, and preservation techniques.
- Understanding of international transportation procedures and material logistics.
- Experience working with electronic inventory management systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and attention to detail.
