We are looking for a Service Technician to join a wind energy project.
This opportunity is suitable for candidates with a technical background in electrical, electromechanical or mechanical maintenance. Previous experience in wind energy is preferred, but candidates with relevant industrial maintenance experience will also be considered.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance of wind turbines
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues
- Assist with repair and replacement of turbine components
- Check equipment alarms and fault history through SCADA
- Read electrical diagrams, drawings and technical instructions
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools
- Complete maintenance reports, work orders and checklists
- Follow all HSE and safe working procedures
Requirements:
- Technical background in Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechanical or a related field
- 0–2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams
- English sufficient to understand technical procedures and prepare basic reports
- Valid driving licence
- Ability and willingness to work at height, including climbing wind turbine towers above 100 metres
- Good teamwork and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
- Previous wind energy experience
- Wind Energy certification
- Experience in electrical/electromechanical or industrial maintenance
