Key Responsibilities

HSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment)

• Demonstrate exemplary behavior regarding HSSE and ensure implementation of HSSE rules within the area of responsibility.
• Ensure alignment between the Company HSE Management System and logistics contractors’ HSE systems.
• Comply with all activities described in the HSE Management System.
• Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others affected by work activities.
• Ensure compliance with company rules, procedures, and instructions.
• Maintain safety at the worksite and prevent risks to personnel, installations, and the environment.
• Report anomalies, abnormal conditions, and near misses to the supervisor.
• Participate in or lead HSE meetings, safety talks, toolbox meetings, training sessions, and drills.
• Lead the implementation of HSE plans.
• Suspend activities if there is a potential or actual threat to human life, installations, or the environment and notify the responsible supervisor.

Logistics Methods and Operations

• Develop, issue, and maintain efficient Supply Chain and Logistics procedures covering the entire process from requisition to final delivery.
• Monitor operational and contractual KPIs to identify optimization opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Implement best practices, standardized processes, and efficient logistics methodologies.
• Conduct logistics performance reviews, operational analyses, and improvement studies.
• Implement logistics technical competency evaluation programs in collaboration with contractor parties and partners.
• Manage interfaces between internal stakeholders such as Drilling, EPS, and Projects to optimize logistics planning and resources.
• Prepare and update short- and long-term logistics resource planning including marine vessels, helicopters, logistics bases, and freight-forwarding requirements.
• Contribute to preparation and updates of annual logistics plans, budgets, and cost estimates.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc operational and analytical reports.
• Work closely with Cost Control teams to ensure accurate cost allocation tracking and reconciliation.
• Contribute to development and implementation of short-, medium-, and long-term logistics strategies.
• Identify logistics risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
• Ensure compliance of logistics operations with company HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support digitalization initiatives including data analytics, dashboards, planning tools, and reporting systems to enhance decision-making.

Logistics Contracts

• Participate in logistics-related contract preparation including Scope of Work (SoW) development.
• Conduct technical evaluations and support contract negotiations.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with KPIs and contractual obligations.
• Support and coordinate Call for Tender (CFT) processes with the Contracts & Procurement team.

Qualifications

• Education: Master of Science in Engineering

Experience:

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably with PSA holders during project and drilling phases.
• Background in documentation control, KPI management, interface management, and contractor coordination.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Lean methodologies is an advantage.
• Experience with reporting systems and digital planning tools.
• Understanding of drilling logistics is an advantage.
• Experience with logistics tools is beneficial.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Contract management experience is an advantage

Languages:

• Fluent Azerbaijani and English
