JOB DIMENSIONS
- Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is a gas production plant started in mid-2023.
- JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum was established in March 2018, which is the Operator of Absheron from August 2018.
- Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.
EPS Project technical data:
- 152Mscf/d of gas, 12.5kbbl/d of condensate; production from 1 subsea well, 34km multiphase flowline, dedicated new platform installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR); WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.
- New EPS platform adjacent and connected to existing facilities, operated with dedicated philosophies for safety, maintenance, inspections, integrity.
- Multicultural context with documents in different languages, mainly Azerbaijani or English.
ACTIVITIES
- The job holder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE rules & requirements, with regards to the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
The job holder responsibilities are:
- Develop and follow up of maintenance Procedures necessary for offshore maintenance activities
- Follow up of planning activity by adequate scheduling in line with 5WLA and Long Term Planning. Ensure Preventive
- Maintenance is well integrated in 5WLA planning.
- Follow up on Maintenance and Inspection KPIs and highlight on potential deviation then propose mitigation solution
- Activate and manage SMCs offshore interventions per discipline perimeter as per planning or on request with direct communication with Offshore Maintenance Inspection Superintendent
- Provide assistance to offshore Team for the maintenance activities performed by SMC Contractors per discipline perimeter. Ensure technical reports from Contractors are consistent and delivered on time,
- Ensure to maintain adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately maintain all equipment. Follow up on spare part stock and ensure that right parts are well in stock, at the good quantity level following the needs for
- Maintenance activities. Propose stock readjustment when appropriate in terms of quantity and type of management.
- Creates WOs and approves them technically in CMIMS when Spare parts are required and follow up of Spare Part logistic up to the delivery offshore.
- Participate to the daily site meeting with the offshore maintenance team.
- Provide technical maintenance support as part of the production optimization centre in the smart room
- Being specialised in Instrument and ICSS and will be LiSCO in charge of Cyber Security in the Company

- Participate actively in or lead when required HSE meetings, safety talks, tool boxes, training sessions and drills when offshore
- Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

DETAILED ACTIVITIES
- Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, to implement HSE rules.
- Ensure Maintenance activities in line with Maintenance philosophy, standards and procedures for the EPS facilities.
- Ensure the maintenance procedures are up to date. Propose revision/improvement when necessary
- Manage the Maintenance activities from SMC contractors
- Ensure effectiveness of CMIMS for maintenance PM & CM scheduling, activity reporting, spare part request and stock management modification when needed
- Act as an active participant of the SMART Room in order to support the Site Activities.
- Prepare PTW and all related document for SMC activities
- Ensures and support co-ordination between maintenance offshore operations and team onshore
- Maintains a permanent anticipation on the potential problems that could occur in the production plant, in close relationship with Maintenance_Inspection Superintendent, in order to prevent non-productive or non-efficient operations
- Ensures that the transfer of knowledge by mentoring occurs properly within Production and maintenance Services teams
- Ensures that the members of Maintenance Services team have the qualifications and skills required for the tasks entrusted to them and, if need be, suggests corrective measures.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
- Higher Degree Diploma in Instrumentation /Automatization Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Control Systems, or a related discipline from a recognized university
- Minimum 7–10 years of relevant industry experience, with a strong focus on instrumentation and ICSS maintenance in oil & gas sector.
- A good knowledge of the process of O&G treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the Instrument equipment used in O&G treatment installations:
Proficient in using and troubleshooting industrial automation platforms such as:
- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
- Emergency Shutdown Systems (ESD) and Fire & Gas Systems (F&G)
- Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
Solid experience with:
- Instrument loop checking, calibration, and field commissioning
- Pneumatic and smart valve diagnostics (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus)
- Process analyzers (gas chromatographs, moisture, H2S, etc.)
- Vibration and condition monitoring instrumentation
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (IEC, ISA, API, ISO)
- Experience with CMMS platforms (SAP)
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential for technical documentation, reporting, and offshore team coordination
- Excellent planning and performance management
- Willingness and ability to travel offshore as needed, sometimes on short notice
