Job dimensions / context

• Absheron Early Production Scheme (EPS) is a gas production plant started in mid-2023.
• JOCAP Joint Operating Company of Absheron Petroleum was established in March 2018, which is the Operator of Absheron from

Absheron development reference agreements are PSA, JOA and addendums.
New EPS platform adjacent and connected to existing facilities, operated with dedicated philosophies for safety, maintenance, inspections, integrity.
Multicultural context with documents in different languages, mainly Azerbaijani or English.
EPS Project technical data:

• 152Mscf/d of gas, 12kbbl/d of condensate,
• production from 1 subsea well,
• 34km multiphase flowline,
• dedicated new platform installed at Oil Rocks field (operated by SOCAR),
• WHSIP = 555bar, WHFP = 380bar.

Activities

• The job holder main responsibilities are to assist the Production Support and Smart Room Manager in achieving the following activities:
• Ensure operational performance in term of production and flaring/venting by following material balance and implementing monitoring tools linked to PI and based on NPDMS.
• Establishing production reporting, gas nominations and shortfall analysis.
• Support field teams by developing new methods.
• For continuous improvement, propose cost performance initiative to increase efficiency and optimize cost.
• the follow-up of OPS CMS documents status, mainly by ensuring the tracking of the progress in term of update as per the list defined by JOCAP management.
• the follow-up of engineering and technical developments required for RFM.
• The follow-up of laboratories by ensuring analysis are performed as per standard, on time, properly reported to OPS department and contract with PSC support.
• the follow-up of Chemicals supplies chain and injection efficiency.
• On top, the jobholder is accountable for the maintenance of the Field Operations Management System (procedures and tools).
• The jobholder is accountable for demonstrating an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSSE rules & requirements, concerning the Company Ethics and “Code of Conduct” policy and for implementing and controlling these rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.

Accountabilities
Detalied Activities

• To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behaviour with regard to HSE, to implement HSE rules and requirements within his area of responsibility.
• Using JOCAP rules and procedures and best work practices, establish and maintain a set of specific procedures complying with main agreements signed (PSA / JOA), to cover the co-ordination and control of activities.
• Ensure effectiveness of the Field Operations Management System (FOMS).
• Ensure the effectiveness of FOMS tools (reporting, action plans...).
• Act as an active participant of the SMART Room in order to support the Site Activities.
• Establish and maintain the tools in order to follow-up the chemicals supply chain, stocks and consumption.

HSE Responsibilities

• Comply with the Activities described within the HSE Management System
• Take reasonable care of own Health and Safety and that of Others who may be affected by their acts at work
• Each employee, at his level of responsibility, must observe all Company Rules, Procedures and instructions in the performance of his own task
• Assure of the safety of his work site
• Exercise such caution as is necessary to avoid danger to persons and installations or to avoid pollution
• Report any anomaly, abnormal conditions and near miss to supervisor
• Authority to suspend activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment, and notify forthwith the responsible supervisor

Qualifications / Experience

• Level / Diploma: Master degree in Engineering

Professional Experience: more than 5 years of experience in Operations of oil & gas facilities including operational positions on offshore sites. knowledge of :

• Flow Assurance and Production Chemistry
• Operations of Offshore Oil and Gas facilities
• Other required Competencies: Process, Well Performance, use of IT tools.
• Fluent in English and Azerbaijani languages
