Responsibilities:
- Calculation, design, sizing, and procurement of electrical systems and equipment such as generators, HV/LV switchboards, transformers, UPS, batteries, etc. based on international design standards.
- Specification for electrical system and equipment, Load flow calculation study, UPS and battery sizing design and calculation, Earthing and lightning system study, lighting system design and calculation, material requisition for electrical system and equipment, vendor proposal review and selecting vendor, vendor document review, etc.
- Assures technical accuracy and quality of all work performed in the electrical department
- Develop international design standards
- Network Modelling (Load Flow Analysis, Optimal Power Flow, Network Enhancement, Short Circuit Calculation)
- Establishes uniform quality standards
- Accurately performs and/or checks electrical design calculations for electrical loads, short circuit and device
- coordination studies, voltage drop, etc. using standard electrical engineering software as per applicable codes
- Prepares, reviews, and/or interprets drawings, specifications and vendor submittals
- Interfaces with various clients as the Lead Engineer. Responds to client questions and comments. Monitor and resolve client issues
Qualification: Minimum 10 years’ work experience within the oil and gas industry.
Experience of working in an integrated team with diverse disciplines.
Degree qualified in electrical engineering discipline.
