Key Requirements:
- A university degree or equivalent
- Minimum intermediate level of English
- Teaching experience in secondary education is preferred
- Strong knowledge and/or experience and/or enthusiasm to teach in the IB MYP/DP curriculum framework
- Intercultural awareness and well-developed interpersonal skills
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Discuss and contribute to decisions on how identified student needs are addressed
- Implement strategies to support students’ self-esteem and confidence-building activities
- Monitor student attendance and punctuality
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports and evaluations
- Prepare the classroom for learning activities
- Provide academic guidance to students individually and/or in groups regarding curriculum requirements, subject selection, academic policies and procedures, and school resources
