We are seeking a qualified and experienced Deputy Head of Campus for our Secondary International School to join our team.
Job responsibilities
- Oversees the day-to-day administration of the school (conflict resolution, organizing events, face-to-face meetings with parents, managing cooperation within school, the allocation and application of responsibilities within the school);
- Effectively plans and leads the team, ensures their professional and personal development (staff meetings, face-to-face communication, lesson observations, extracurricular activities, appraisals);
- Fosters an understanding of and respect between students, teachers and parents (assisting the principals in organizing and leading teacher-parent meetings, receiving feedback from all parties and helping to achieve a compromise);
- Promotes and strengthens a culture of high expectations to ensure that all staff focus on the improvement of teaching;
- Ensures student support including behavioral management and monitoring of student achievement (individual and class session with the students, lesson observations);
- Works to maintain and where feasible improve the quality of teaching and learning and assist in teacher training and professional development;
- Addresses student behavior and disciplinary issues in collaboration with teachers and parents;
- Implements and uses the award system to motivate the students and the staff;
- Implements school policies and ensures compliance with educational regulations;
- Stays informed about changes in educational policies and standards;
- Maintains ongoing communication with parents, address concerns, conduct follow-ups, manage conflict resolution, serve as the initial point of escalation, and collaborate with parents in a customer-oriented manner.
Background:
- Bachelor degree is a must;
- Master degree;
- 3+ years of experience;
- 1+ years of experience in educational management;
- Experience in international school is a plus;
- Education abroad is a plus;
- English language knowledge (C1);
- Russian language knowledge is a plus.
