- Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies;
- Develop dance curriculums and prepare lesson plans;
- Choreograph routines and select music for recitals and concerts at PreSchool;
- Provide a fun and creative environment;
- Engage, encourage, and motivate students;
- Guide students safely through a warm up, conditioning, stretching, exercises, choreography and cool down;
- Differentiate teaching for varying learners’ needs;
- Communicate effectively with students and other staff members;
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Background:
- Bachelor's degree in dance or qualification from an accredited college;
- Previous teaching experience required;
- English language skills - B1.
