Job responsibilities
- Provide first-line and second-line support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems (onsite and remote)
- Troubleshoot operating systems such as Windows
- Resolve application-related issues including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook
- Install, configure, and upgrade desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Manage software installations, updates, and patches
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues
- Configure routers, switches, and access points
- Support VPN connectivity and remote access solutions
- Assist with firewall and network security configurations
- Manage user accounts
- Configure email accounts
- Log, track, and resolve tickets using systems
Desired skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
- Good knowledge of operating systems including Windows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals)
- Experience with remote support tools
- Ability to perform software installations
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
