Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day HR operations.
- Manage the entire employment process from hiring to redundancy.
- Prepare vacation, sick leave, and promotion documents.
- Implement HR strategies to attract, grow, and keep the best talent in the company.
- Collaborate with management and personnel to facilitate positive employee relations, maintain a good working environment, and build morale.
- Oversee new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
- Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
- Ensure accurate calculation and timely remittance of payroll taxes, including state and local taxes as well as any other statutory deductions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential requirements & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a specialist capacity.
- Knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Intermediate English skills able to communicate well in writing and speaking.
