Role Summary
The Lead Technical Architect oversees all technical stages of the project from post-design development through construction. This role ensures that all drawings are coordinated, accurate, and aligned with the design intent, while leading the technical team and managing coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the technical architectural team; assign tasks and ensure timely delivery.
- Oversee production of all technical drawings: plans, sections, details, schedules, and coordination documents.
- Ensure full coordination between architecture, structure, and MEP systems; resolve clashes and technical conflicts.
- Review and approve drawing packages before submission to clients, contractors, and authorities.
- Conduct site visits; monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved drawings.
- Respond to RFIs, review shop drawings, and provide technical solutions during construction.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with building codes and project standards.
- Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 8+ years of experience in technical architecture and project coordination.
- Strong expertise in construction detailing, building systems, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM; Navisworks is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and maintain high-quality technical outputs.
