Mitaş Enerji ve Madeni, İnşaat İşleri Türk A.Ş is a Turkey based engineering and construction firm specializing in energy infrastructure projects. As an EPC contractor, it handles the full lifecycle of projects including design, procurement and construction, primarily focusing on high voltage transmission lines, substations and renewable energy systems. The company also manufactures steel structures and carries out installation and commissioning, delivering large scale power solutions across numerous countries.  

Job requirements

We are seeking a qualified Accountant with a strong understanding of financial practices and Azerbaijani legislation. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in accounting and be capable of interpreting and applying local laws and regulations in financial operations. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing tax and statutory reports, ensuring compliance with Azerbaijani tax and financial legislation, and advising management on legal aspects related to accounting and finance. The candidate should be able to monitor changes in legislation and reflect them in company practices.

We would like to hire an accountant who is able to

  • Keep precise financial records covering assets, liabilities, payables, receivables, cash flow, taxes, revenue, and expenditures.
  • Compile and file VAT, property, profit, simplified tax, and statistical reports with the appropriate authorities. 
  • Analyze expenses and income, identify budget deviations, and report to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Advanced skills in MS Office applications, particularly Excel

Desirable

  • Experience with international companies or branch offices will be appreciated.
  • Strong knowledge of Tax Code and Accounting Standards
  • High sense of accuracy, responsibility, and analytical thinking
  • Ability to plan work, set priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Working conditions,
  •  5 days a week, full or part time(as agreed in interview)
